Hello all, and a belated Happy New Year to everyone. Yes I am sorry that it has been so long since I've put something up, but holidays an all that. I have returned to start recapping the first year of First XV. For me there are so many people and events that made this a great first year in business. 2016 wasn't all bad on this end (despire people begging for 2017 to get here). Over the next several days I'll put up some post highlighting things a couple months at a time. We'll start with the obvious place, January and February. January This whole thing started with a simple e-mail from Tony almost a year ago today on January 6th 2016. The woman (Rebecca) he was sub-leasing from was looking for other independent sub-leasers, SCORE! The wheels were put in motion and they haven’t stopped since. January 29th I announced the formation of First XV and was officially open for business. Some of you remember the picture above and the slogan of “Picking Things Up and Putting Them Back Down Since 2012”. February On February 4th I let my job know that in 2-weeks I would no longer need employment. Not going to lie, it felt pretty darn good. The first training session was February 6th and then there were many more to follow. Note how different the space is now as opposed to a few months later when it got an upgrade. It was still a more than servicable space just the same. February 19th I left the safety and security of my other job and went into the uncharted waters of self-employment. Haven’t regretted it yet to be quite truthful. I miss the people I interacted with for years, especially the clients, but still nothing has made me regret the change
Check back here tomorrow for March and April
